Consulting

An outside view of your business: where you stand today, where you want to be — and which route actually gets you there.

«We know something has to change — we just don't know where to start.»

The most urgent problems are rarely the most visible ones. In our consulting work so far, topics have surfaced that nobody had on their list: contracts, invoicing, staff planning, advertising, being findable at all. That is exactly what an outside view is for — nobody has it while running the day-to-day.

Werkwave does not simply build what is ordered. Before a module starts, we look at your business together: what costs the most time today, what returns the least, and what should be different in twelve months? That picture becomes a route — and only then a quote.

Consulting

On request
Consulting cannot be sold off the shelf: what it covers follows from your situation — which is why the scope is only set after the first conversation.

How your quote comes about

  • A short first conversation clarifies your situation, your goals and who is involved.
  • You receive a quote with a clearly bounded scope and timeframe.
  • After the workshop you receive a written strategy document with prioritised recommendations.

The first conversation commits you to nothing. Only then does a quote follow — and work starts only once you approve it.

Three formats, one goal

01

Vision workshop

We sit down with you and the people who really know the business, and capture the situation as it is: processes, bottlenecks, responsibilities, numbers. Then we design the target picture together — how the business should run in twelve months — and derive the steps that actually lead there. In one consulting engagement for a staffing agency, five topics surfaced that nobody had on their list beforehand: contracts and invoicing ran by hand, staff planning lived in spreadsheets, digital advertising was missing entirely, and the firm was barely findable in its own region. You receive the result in writing, prioritised, with an honest estimate of the effort involved.

02

Tech stack strategy

Most businesses do not have too little software — they have too many isolated tools that never talk to each other. We record what is in use today, what it is used for, and where data is maintained twice. Out of that comes a recommendation: what stays, what gets replaced, what can go without replacement — and in which order to tackle it so the business keeps running during the changeover. We will recommend a tool you already have even when it is not ours: a strategy that always ends at our own catalogue is not a strategy.

03

Data migration

Moving customer, order and accounting data is where digitalisation projects most often fail — not because of the new software, but because of years of grown data nobody can cleanly account for any more. We review what you hold, agree what gets carried over and what belongs in the archive, and plan the move with a test run, checkpoints and a way back if something is wrong. You know beforehand what will be carried over, and afterwards that all of it arrived.

What you are left holding

A consulting engagement does not end with a conversation but with something written down that you can work from — including without us.

Part of every engagement

  • Vision workshop: current situation, target picture and the route there, worked out together
  • Tech stack strategy: which tools you need, which can go, and what has to work together
  • Data migration: a plan for moving your data into the new systems without losing any of it
  • Automation diagnosis: which recurring processes are actually worth automating
  • A written strategy document with prioritised recommendations
  • Effort and sequencing for the next twelve months
  • Follow-up session: open questions answered, priorities sharpened

Tell us briefly where it hurts. We will get in touch for a first conversation that commits you to nothing — the scope comes out of that, and a quote only after it.
